PCG: A drowning Chinese tourist was successfully rescued and revived last Monday, October 26 at the Snorkeling Area of Boracay, Malay, Aklan. 

The victim, identified as Chen Jin, was seen drowning by the Nico Gaspar, boat captain of M/Bca JJM, and was immediately rescued. 

He was successfully revived by Gaspar and the tour guide through the application of cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR). 

Upon regaining consciousness, the victim was rushed by the personnel of Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Boracay and its Deployable Response Team (DRT) to Metropolitan Clinic where he was declared to be in stable and good physical condition.

CGSS Boracay advised the boat captain to file a Marine Protest regarding the incident.
