PCG: Coast Guard Station (CGS) Laguna successfully retrieved the cadavers of two male teenagers who drowned at San Mateo River last December 4.

The victims identified as Kerby Russel Suba, 16 years old and John Rey Galan, 15 years old, were both residents of Barangay Pag-asa, Batasan Hills, Quezon City.

The incident was reported by a concerned citizen to CGS Laguna.      

 Immediately, elements of CGS Laguna, together with Coast Guard Special Operations Group (CGSOG), proceeded to the area and conducted search retrieval operation.

Around 8:27 pm on that day, the bodies of the victims were retrieved and properly turned-over to their families for proper disposition.

Investigation revealed that the victims went on swimming under the influence of liquor.
