PCG: President Benigno Aquino III along with other heads of agencies inspected vessels and facilities in Batangas Port to ensure that all security preparations were laid out in anticipation to the influx of passengers in different ports this Holy Week season. 

President Aquino on Wednesday inspected the security, ticketing and preboarding procedures at Passenger Terminal Building 2 and 3 in Batangas Port and the Vessel Traffic Management System (VTMS) CCTV rooms at the PPA Administration Building to ensure safe travel. 

He also inspected the vessels bound for southern Luzon and instructed vessel operators to ensure adequate life saving equipments for the riding public.
