The PCG reported that all ports nationwide were generally peaceful during the Holy Week as no untoward incidents were reported.

All activities related to Oplan Ligtas Biyahe Semana Santa 2015 such as the activation of Passenger Assistance Center (PAC) and the conduct of Mandatory Pre-Departure Inspection (MPDI) to all vessels were successfully implemented nationwide in all ports and terminals that started from March 27 until April 6 in coordination with MARINA, PPA, PNP, PCGA and full cooperation of the shipping companies, the riding public and local fisherfolks.
