The Executive Director of National Coast Watch Council Secretariat, Undersecretary Jose Luis M Alano together with Chairman of Technical Working Group-Concept of Operations, Commodore Joel S Garcia PCG spearheaded the conduct of a two-day workshop from April 6-7, 2015 at the Heritage Hotel, Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City.

The said workshop which, was participated in by the Philippine Coast Guard, Philippine National Police – Maritime Group, Philippine Ports Authority, Maritime Industry Authority, Bureau of Customs, Bureau of Immigration, Bureau of Quarantine and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency aims to finalize the working draft of the Technical Working Group for the concept of operations, information sharing and capability development as well as the proposed organizational structure of the National Coast Watch Center and its manning provisions.
