PCG: Coast Guard personnel from Talicud, Davao have successfully revived a local tourist who suffered from cardiac arrest last Tuesday, April 7 at the Isla Reta Beach Resort. 

Elioterio Cabautan, 42, was found unconscious, pale and not breathing by the beach staff around 11:40 am. The incident was immediately reported by Mario Reta, beach owner, to the personnel of Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Talicud.

Immediately upon arrival at the resort, the Coast Guard personnel performed CPR on the patient who was then revived despite having a weak pulse and shallow breathing. 

Cabautan was placed on his side for recovery with an oxygen mask before transporting him to Sta. Ana Wharf in Davao City where he was rushed to the nearest hospital by relatives. 

Investigation revealed that the patient is a resident of Brgy. Cogon, Sitio Balete Talicud Island, Igacos, Davao Del Norte.
