PCG: Elements of Coast Guard Station (CGS) San Jose De Buenavista continues searching for six fishermen who remains missing since their boat encountered engine trouble last Saturday, June 20. 

According to Henry Batoliño, owner of Fbca Territorial Express, his boat encountered engine trouble at the vicinity waters of Punta Hagdan Anini- Y Antique while enroute to Cagayancillo, Palawan for a fishing venture. 

Immediately, the personnel of CGS San Jose De Buenavista conducted search and rescue operation but yielded with negative result.

The SAR operation was temporarily terminated due to strong current prevailing in the area and will be continued if weather permits.

CGS San Jose De Buenavista advised all fishing banca transiting in the area to be on the look out and render necessary assistance if said fishing banca is sighted.

Fbca Teritorial Express is owned by Henry Batolino and skippered by Captain Sandy Magbanua.
