PCG: Elements of Coast Guard Station (CGS) Coron rescued all passengers from a distressed motor boat in Marily Island, Culion, Palawan last Monday, June 29. 

The incident was reported by Kagawad Wilson Prudente of Barangay San Miguel, Linapacan, Palawan, stating that MBca Lean Carlo encountered engine trouble while transporting five passengers and a skipper. 

The survivors were identified as Skipper Jerson Zumarga, 25 years old, Hernando Uztares-55 years old, Evangeline Uztares-55 years olad, Lucita Magbanua-68 years old, Jerson Zumaraga-25 years old, and Bernabe De Jesus-22 years old.

Immediately, the CGS Coron Search and Rescue (SAR) team, together with the civilian volunteers, rescued all persons onboard and towed the boat to Barangay Decabaito, Linapacan, Palawan.

The survivors were found in good physical condition.
