PCG: Office of the Deputy Chief of Coast Guard Staff for Marine Environmental Protection of the Philippine Coast Guard recently held a two-day conference on marine environmental protection (MEP) held at The Hub, Rizal Park, Manila on 07-08 July.

The workshop was participated by 12 Marine Environmental Protection Unit Commanders and personnel of Marine Environmental Protection Command.

The event aims to address the activities on how to mitigate and adapt to the effect of climate change, review the current procedures and to discuss different issues and concerns encountered by MEP inspectors in their areas of responsibilities.
