PCG: Elements of the Philippine Coast Guard in Sta. Ana, Cagayan continues searching for a 43-year old fisherman who was reported missing by a concerned resident of Barangay Tangatan.

According to Maximo Cuabo, Jomar Anama went fishing last Wednesday, July 29 onboard motor banca Queen Diana described to be painted green and powered by an 18HP Brigs Stratton Engine.

Anama reportedly sailed to Didicas Island in Camiguin, Calayan for a fishing venture but has failed to return since. 

The personnel of Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) San Vicente immediately searched for Anama and disseminated the information to Coast Guard Station (CGS) Aparri. It also advised the fishermen plying in the area to be on the look-out for the missing fisherman and to render necessary assistance when found, and to report to the nearest Coast Guard.
