ADMIRAL RODOLFO D ISORENA, Philippine Coast Guard Commandant graced the joint graduation ceremony of CGK9 Search and Rescue Dog and Handler Specialization Course, Narcotics Detection and Handler Specialization Course and Explosive Detection Dog and Handler Specialization Course respectively at the Headquarters Philippine Coast Guard yesterday, 31 July.Β
The graduates of Explosive Detection Dog and Handler Specialization Course include two (2) handlers from the Arsenal of the Department of National Defense. The event also featured seventeen (17) CGK9 dog graduates which are products of the Coast Guard K9 Breeding Program located in Coast Guard Search and Rescue Base Romblon.
Admiral Isorena extended his congratulations to the handlers for hurdling more than six (6) months of rigid training and honing of skills for their respective area of specialization. He also expressed his continuous support to the ideals of the Coast Guard K9 Unit as a major working dog producer, excellent veterinary health care provider, and premier K9 training Institution in the country.
