PCG: Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary (PCGA) National Director, VADM VALENTIN B PRIETO PCGA took oath before PCG Commandant, ADM RODOLFO D ISORENA PCG as he was promoted to the next higher rank as Vice Admiral at PCG headquarters in Manila today.

VADM PRIETO PCGA succeeded VADM JOSEPH N DY PCGA as the seventh National Director during the PCGA Turn-over of Leadership and Management last 25 July at the Heritage Hotel in Manila. Prior his designation, he was previously assigned as the District Director of Coast Guard Auxiliary District National Capital Region-Central Luzon as well as the Deputy National Director for Operations, PCGA. 

Among who witnessed the event were PCG Deputy Commandant, Rear Admiral William M Melad PCG and PCGA National Director for Marine Environmental Protection, Commodore Gerry Reyes PCGA.
