PCG: Elements of Coast Guard Station (CGS) Davao rescued seven passengers of a fishing banca after it was accidentally hit by another boat in Sta Ana Pier, Davao City last Friday, August 07.

According to reports, F/bca Aming was at its anchorage position in Pier 1 when it was drifted by big waves and strong winds prevailing in the area and accidentally hit F/bca Kamsar with seven passengers onboard. The accident damaged F/bca Aming’s hull causing it to submerge.

The Coast Guard immediately responded and rescued all passengers of F/bca Kamsar who are residents of Isla Verde, Davao City and immediately turned-over them to Rescue 911 for medical attention. F/bca Kamsar, owned by Mr Mario Adji of Isla Verde, sustain no damage in the incident
