PCG: Two men were successfully rescued by the Coast Guard from a sunken motor vessel in Linapacan, Palawan last Saturday, August 08, when rough seas and strong winds hit their boat.

Motor banca Jasper sunk 5.5. NM west off Nangalaw Island around 7:45 pm last Saturday while on its way to Brgy. San Miguel, Linapacan to deliver fish.

The Coast Guard in Linapacan, Palawa immediately conducted search and rescue operations onboard AB-035 and rescued the boat's two crew members.

They were brought to Brgy. San Miguel in good physical condition.
