PCG: PCG Commandant Admiral RODOLFO D ISORENA PCG led the joint convening ceremony of Coast Guard Officers’ Course Class 17-2015 & Class 18-2015 at Bagac, Bataan, this morning 19 August 2015.
Admiral Isorena said in his speech that discipline, honesty and honor must be their top priorities aside from being strong and smart. He also challenged them to endure the rigid mental and physical training and look forward to the day when they will be able to serve the country through the coast guard service.
The CGOC Cl 17-2015 is composed of 17 service academy graduates, 13 from the Philippine Merchant Marine Academy, two (2) from Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific and two (2) from U.S Coast Guard Academy. Class 17 will undergo a three month coast guard functions familiarization course. Meanwhile CGOC Cl 18-2015 is composed of 50 aspiring officers who will undergo 12 months training for candidate officer.
