PCG: A sea turtle locally known as “pawikan” was recovered by personnel of Coast Guard vessel AE 46 at Pier 13, Port Area today August 22.

According to the vessel’s personnel they noticed the said pawikan when it surfaced at the right side of their vessel around 12 noon.  It was turned-over to Ninoy Aquino Park and Wildlife Center in Quezon City for proper disposition.
