The Headquarters Coast Guard Ready Force headed by its Commander, Captain Artemio M Abu PCG celebrated its 8th Founding Anniversary graced by PCG Commandant, Admiral Rodolfo D Isorena as guest of honor at HCGRF, Pier 13, South Harbor, Port Area, Manila this morning, 07 September.

Admiral Isorena PCG extended his congratulations to the men and women of the Coast Guard Ready Force (CGRF) for their excellent public service. He likewise recognized the selfless acts/efforts extended by CGRF to the needy Filipinos.

The month long celebration anchored on the theme, “Strength in Unity, Kung Sama-sama, Kayang-kaya”, kicked-off with their line of activities such as CGRF Sportsfest, GAD Seminar, Coastal Clean-up, Gun Safety / Values Formation Seminar, Basic Life Safety (First Aid / Fire Fighting) Seminar, MARLEN Demonstration and concluded with the awarding of CGRF outstanding personnel and civilian employees during their anniversary program.

The said celebration was also attended by Rear Admiral Cecil R Chen PCG, Commander of Coast Guard Fleet, PCG staff, Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary, CGRF officers and non-officers, civilian employees among others.
