PCG: A concerned citizen of Roxas, Capiz turned-over a weak green sea turtle to the protection of the Philippine Coast Guard last Saturday, September 19, after he discovered the reptile stranded along the shoreline of Sitio Pook in Barangay Culasi. 

A certain Stanley Dela Cruz, 22, found the feeble turtle and called the attention of Coast Guard Station (CGS) Roxas.

The turtle was identified to be a male and measured 11 inches long and 8.5 inches wide. 

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) placed the turtle in custody of CGS Roxas pending to its treatment by the city veterinary.
