PCG: Search and rescue efforts remain futile for two missing fishermen in Dingalan, Aurora due to unfavorable sea condition brought about by Typhoon Lando.

Salvador Buaraw, 41, and Ramil Estacion, 38, reportedly went on a fishing venture last Friday October 16, but have failed to return since. 

The incident was reported by MDRRMO-Dingalan to Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Dingalan on Saturday, thereby prompting for an immediate search and rescue operations with eight civilian volunteers.

The SAR operations was temporarily terminated, however, due to rough seas. 

The Coast Guard team advised all barangay officials, fishermen and water crafts transiting the area to be on the look out for Buaraw and Estacion, and to immediately report to CGSS Dingalan if sighted.
