DOTC-PCG: The Philippine Coast Guard in Polilio, Quezon continues searching for three fishermen who were reported missing since Saturday, January 19 when they went for a fishing venture but have failed to return since.

On a report received by the personnel of Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Polilio from Edwin Susa, Chairman of Barangay Kalubakis, Polilio, the three fishermen departed onboard M/Bca Ely around 4:00AM last Saturday to fish at the vicinity waters of Barangay Agta.

The fishermen were identified as Randy Ramirez, 45 years old, Josepth Regata, 18 years old, and Ronnel Tambal, 21 years old.

Immediately, the personnel of CGSS Polilio conducted a search and rescue operation but due to the prevailing rough seas in the area, the SAR operations was temporarily terminated.

The team likewise coordinated with all local fisher folks on the area to be on look-out for the missing motor banca and if sighted, to render necessary assistance or report/call/text to CGSS Polilio in the cellphone number 0908-3264303.
