The Philippine Coast Guard Dragon Boat Team (PCGDBT) once again showed its fighting form during the recently concluded PDBF-Cobra Chinese New Year Dragon Boat Race 2014 held yesterday, 09 February at the Manila Bay. Yesterday’s event brought together 17 club teams under the Philippine Dragon Boat Federation (PDBF) seeking for supremacy. Submitting complete entries in the Men’s, Women’s and Mixed 300 meter categories, the Coast Guard Team easily qualified in the elimination heats which propelled them to the semi-final and final heats that resulted to a First Place in Women’s 300m, Second Place in Men’s 300m and Second Place in Mixed 300m races earning their first three trophies for this year.

The PCGDBT will also participate in the 1st leg of the Annual PDBF-Cobra Dragon Boat Regatta on 02 March 2014.
