Philippine Coast Guard Commandant Vice Admiral Rodolfo D Isorena welcomes Japan Coast Guard officers at the headquarters, PCG, Manila this morning. PCG and JCG personnel are holding a three day training exercise on Integrated Maritime Seaborne Law Enforcement at Pier 13, South Harbor, Manila, from February 25 to 27, 2014.

The exercise includes discussions on cross border law enforcement activities and issues on the application of “Rules of Engagement” against poaching and illegal intrusion.

The exercise will culminate on the third day with actual training exercise simulating a poaching incident in Manila Bay.
