DOTC-PCG: A 36 year-old fisherman was found dead by the Search and Rescue team of Coast Guard Sub Station (CGSS) Pilar yesterday afternoon 700 yards off the eastern coast of Brgy. San Antonion, Pilar, Sorsogon.

The fisherman identified as Ronald Loriaga was reported missing and members of the Special Operations Unit Bicol and CGSS Pilar conducted a SAR operations in search of the victim.

The team was joined by Helen Belmonte, sister of the victim, in scouring the vicinity waters of Pilar Bay and parts of Burias pass.

After four hours of searching, Larriego was found dead amd was loaded to the motorboat where he was transported to Port of Pilar.

The cadaver was turned-over to Funeraria Leosala for proper disposition.

Larriego is a resident of Sitio Tingco, Barangay Inapugan, Pilar, Sorsogon.
