PCG: 19 stranded persons including 8 female adults, 6 male adults, 3 boys and 2 girls were successfully rescued by PCG personnel onboard DF 313 at the Manila breakwater while conducting maritime patrol at the vicinity waters of North Anchorage Area yesterday at 7:30 in the evening who went on swimming at the breakwater to celebrate the Easter Sunday.

Accordingly, they were transported to the breakwater by Fbca Compas and were supposedly ferried back to Navotas at 3:00 PM. The fishing banca however failed to fetch them in the afternoon since it encountered engine trouble. The 19 rescued persons were brought to Coast Guard Station Manila and were immediately transported to Navotas onboard PCG Isuzo vehicle in good physical condition.
