PCG: Rear Admiral Luis M Tuason Jr, the Vice Commandant for Operations of the Philippine Coast Guard, has recently commended the Coast Guard Internal Affairs Office (CGIAS) for its newly implemented policies that promote discipline among the PCG personnel.

During its 14th founding anniversary at the Coast Guard Base Farola in Binondo, Manila yesterday, 09 May, Rear Admiral Tuason lauded COMMO DANILO M UBALDO PCG, Commander of CGIAS, for his formulation of policies related to the conduct and discipline of the PCG officers and personnel.

“Discipline is of utmost importance in the PCG in order to ensure the efficiency of the organization as a whole. Efficiency then helps to ensure that the mandates of the PCG are fulfilled while at the same time maintaining the highest level of professionalism among its personnel”, RADM TUASON PCG said in his speech.

This year’s celebration is anchored on the theme, “Unity through Service and Discipline” where Tuason was the guest of honor.

He also commended their efforts for the approval of the Basic Internal Affairs Investigation Course’ program of instruction to develop competent investigators to gather necessary evidence before facing the appropriate PCG board.

Highlighting the celebration was the presentation of awards and pinning of Investigator’s Badge to 15 CGIAS personnel while the Provost Marshall Badge was awarded to 22 personnel of said office headed by RADM TUASON PCG and assisted by COMMO UBALDO PCG.
