PCG: Coast Guard elements in Claveria, Cagayan continues searching for two children who went missing while playing at the fish port yesterday, July 29.

The missing children who were suspected to have drowned are Althea Dalisay, 5 years old, and Kristel Aludino, 4 years old.

Meanwhile, the body of Rex Ivan Aludino, 5, was recovered shortly after the incident was reported to Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Claveria. 

He was brought to Layus Hospital for medical treatment but was pronounced dead on arrival.

According to reports, the three children were last seen playing on the stairs of the fish landing port before the incident. Their respective parents looked for them but only found their slippers on the stairs of the said fishport.

CGSS Claveria scoured the area for the remaining two bodies but yielded negative reports. The team temporarily suspended the search and retrieval operation due to zero visibility in the said area and will continue the next day.
