PCG: Personnel of Coast Guard Station (CGS) Cuyo are still on the look-out for two missing fishermen at the vicinity waters of Round Island, Cuyo, Palawan.

The fishermen were identified as Kenny Pritos, 35 years old and Aldrin Jordan, 22 years old, both residents of Barangay Cabigsing, Cuyo, Palawan.

Initial investigation revealed that a certain Mr Rolando Moreno, a resident of said barangay, reported that said fishermen set out to sea and went on fishing venture since July 24 onboard motor banca painted white and blue hull at Round Island but both have failed to return as expected.

Personnel of CGS Cuyo immediately organized search and rescue team but the search and rescue operation was terminated due to unfavorable sea condition.

They also coordinated with Barangay Captain Nelson C Paguia of Barangay Caponayan in Cuyo as well as with Barangay Captain Enriquinto F Gabuco of Barangay Lubid also in Cuyo for possible sightings of missing fishing banca and fishermen.

Meanwhile, the personnel of said station have already informed all motor bancas plying within the area of responsibility to be on the look-out for the said fishermen and give necessary assistance if found and report to the nearest Coast Guard Station and Sub-Station.
