PCG: The Philippine Coast Guard in Bolinao, Pangasinan continues searching for a fishermen who was reported missing yesterday by his boat owner.

Diana Catalina reported to Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Bolinao that Lando Tobias, 46, went fishing onboard her motorboat M/Bca Jorge 6 last August 3 and was expected to return two to three days later.

The boat was described to have a body marking "6", colored orange, blue and green, with two gross tonnage and powered by a 6.5HP engine.

Tobias reportedly went fishing 100NM north west off Bolinao but has failed to return up to this date.

Meanwhile, CGSS Bolinao tried to contact the passing vessels in the area to inquire for possible sightings of said missing fisherman but yielded a negative result.

The Coast Guard SAR team intends to conduct SAR operations on the next day if weather and sea condition permits.
