PCG: The Philippine Coast Guard in Sual, Pangasinan continues searching for a 6-year old boy who drowned at the Mitura River, Urdaneta last Saturday, August 30.

The victim, Lemuel Pangaranao Salvador, was reportedly playing with his two younger brothers along the riverbank when he accidentally slipped and fell. He was carried away downstream and drowned.

Upon receiving the information from PDRRMC-Pangasinan, the personnel of Coast Guard Station (CGS) Sual immediately organized a SAR team with the Field Station-North Western Luzon and Special Operations Unit.

The underwater search for Lemuel yielded negative results and was temporarily terminated due to poor visibility.

The SAR team intends to resume the following day if weather and river condition permits.
