PCG: A 52-year old fisherman, who was earlier reported missing, was retrieved by elements of the Philippine Coast Guard off Benguet Pier, Masinloc, Zambales last Sunday, September  07.

Initial reports revealed that a certain Leoncio M Bangi, resident of Barangay Balonganon, Masinloc, Zambales reported to Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Masinloc that his brother Oscar went fishing at the vicinity waters of Masinloc Power Plant onboard an unnamed motorbanca but failed to return home last 06 September.

Personnel of said sub-station, together with some fishermen, immediately conducted search and retrieval operations and successfully found the cadaver of Oscar floating at Benguet Pier.

The remains of the victim was properly turned-over to his relatives and was brought to Jupiter Funeral in Masinloc for proper disposition.
