PCG: The personnel of Coast Guard Station (CGS) Aparri have conducted a medical evacuation to the sick crew of MV Eternal Power at Aparri Anchorage Area last Saturday, September 26, 2014.

The Coast Guard received a call from the captain of subject vessel requesting for a medical evacuation for Chief Engineer Lucio Leovigildo F. Fabrero who was suffering from severe abdominal pain.

Immediately, CGS Aparri coordinated with MV Eternal Power and decided to rendezvous at Aparri Anchorage Area. 

The team composed of CGS Aparri and medical personnel onboard a Coast Guard aluminum boat successfully evacuated the ailing crew and brought to CGS Aparri for physical assessment prior to turning him over to Mrs. Petronila Resma, crew manager of Rosy Star Ocean Vessel Management Inc for his transfer to Manila Doctor’s Hospital.
