PCG: The Philippine Coast Guard held a K9 health fair at Headquarters Philippine Coast Guard today October 02, 2014.

Coast Guard Chief of Staff Commodore Joselito F Dela Cruz graced the event which was also attended by representatives from Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary (PCGA) and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

During the event, Commodore Dela Cruz awarded K9 Search and Rescue dog “Josh” for being instrumental in recovering four cadavers during the search and retrieval operations in the aftermath of a 7.1 magnitude earthquake in Bohol. The said event also included anti-rabies vaccination, obedience demonstration and discussion on animal welfare act.
