PCG: Search efforts continue for a 10-year old boy who reportedly slipped and drowned in Sinucalan River in Calasiao, Pangasinan last Monday, October 20.

The victim identified as Johnray G. Calaunan was seen playing with his friends along the riverbank when he accidentally slipped and fell into the water. He was then washed away by the current and went missing.

The incident was reported by the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (PDRRMC) to Coast Guard Station (CGS) Sual who immediately proceeded to the area to search for Johnray.

The underwater search at the site yielded negative results and it was temporarily suspended around 5:00 PM due to impending darkness.

Search operations by the authorities continue for the drowned victim.
