PCG: COMMO BON DAN CHAN PCG and COMMO LYNDON F LATORRE PCG took their oath before DOTC Secretary Joseph Emilio Abaya at the Department of Transportation and Communications after their promotion was signed by President Benigno Aquino III today, 23 October.

The Philippine Coast Guard then rendered an arrival honor to the newly promoted Commodores at Headquarters Coast Guard Ready Force in Port Area, Manila.

COMMO BON DAN CHAN PCG, is a member of PMA Class “Sinag Tala” of 1986 and a Master of Science in Maritime Safety & Environmental Protection graduate at World Maritime University in Malmo, Sweden in 2000. He is presently the Commander of Coast Guard Weapons, Communications, Electronics and Information Systems Service (CGWCEISS) in Mandaluyong City.

COMMO LYNDON F LATORRE PCG, is a member of PMA Class “Hinirang” of 1987 and a graduate of Master of Marine Management in Dalhousie University in Canada and Business Administration in Wesleyan University in Connecticut, USA. He is presently the Director of PCG Project Management Office and the Commander of Coast Guard Aviation Group (CGAG)in Pasay City.
