PCG: Two motor boats were apprehended by the personnel of Coast Guard Station (CGS) Cuyo after the Vessel Safety Enforcement Team found out several maritime violations during an inspection at Cuyo Port, Palawan last Wednesday, October 22.

M/B Rica Mae-D, a cargo passenger vessel owned and operated by Ricky Dalingding, was issued a Certificate of Orderly Inspection (COI) and Enforcement Inspection Apprehension Report for violating HPCG Memorandum Circular 07-12 or leaving port with-out PCG Clearance, operating with-out Boat Captain License, Marine Diesel Mechanic License, expired Certificate of Public Convenience, Bay and River License and Minimum Manning Certificate.

The team also issued a COI to M/B J&J, a cargo vessel owned and operated by Juanito Cabaluna, for violating HPCG Memorandum Circular 07-12 or leaving port with-out PCG Clearance, operating with-out Marine Diesel Mechanic License, Cargo Ship Safety Certificate, Minimum Safe Manning Certificate and Coastwise License and Ship Station License.

The team advised both captains of motor banca to rectify their violations to CGS Cuyo and MARINA Office in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.
