PCG: A female teenager was found dead at the shoreline of Sitio Nagtapulan, Camiguin last Monday, November 17, almost a week after she was reported missing by her relatives in  Calayan, Cagayan.

Investigation revealed that Nemar G. Fadero, 16, was last seen on November 11 when she left to visit her sister in Sitio Panan in Barangay Naguillan, Camiguin.

Nemar's relatives reported her missing when she failed to reach her sister on the same day.

Last Monday, the girl's body was found floating at the shoreline of Sitio Nagtapulan by a certain Helson G. Geralde, 24, and a resident of the same village.

Upon receipt of report from Geralde, the joint team of Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Camiguin and some civilian volunteers recovered the cadaver of the victim and coordinated with the local police to verify its identity.

The retrieved cadaver was then turned-over to her family for proper disposition.
