PCG: A 16-year old student of Taal  National High School in Batangas  accidentally fell to his death at the San Nicolas Dike last Wednesday, November 19.

Jeffrey Falla Manebo was reportedly washing his feet at the wharf when he accidentally slipped, fell down the water and drowned.

Philip Joshua David, the victim's friend, reported the incident to Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) San Nicolas who immediately conducted a search and rescue operations along with the local police and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

Jeffrey's body was found unconscious by the team and was rushed at the Batangas Provincial Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.
