PCG: Elements of Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) San Vicente have successfully rescued two fishermen from a capsized boat at the vicinity waters of Brgy Nangaramoan, Sta Ana, Cagayan last Friday, December 12.

A certain Mrs Josephine Guittap, 38 years old and resident of Brgy Centro 9, Sta Ana, Cagayan reported the incident to CGSS San Vicente. 

Upon receipt of the report, CGSS San Vicente conducted search and rescue operation onboard PCG aluminum boat and successfully rescued the fishermen identified as Joywin Q Corpuz, 43 years old and Rey A Lopez, 24 years old both residents of Brgy Centro 9, Sta Ana.

Investigation revealed that Corpuz and Lopez were conducting fishing venture off Nangaramoan, Sta Ana, Cagayan when their motor banca encountered big waves causing said motor banca to capsize.
