PCG: The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) continues searching for four sacristans and the chief of police of Limasawa, Southern Leyte as the pump boat transporting them to Limasawa Island went missing at the height of Tropical Depression Seniang.

The pump boat reportedly departed Barangay San Roque, Macrohon around 2:00 pm yesterday despite a public storm warning signal prevailing at the area.

Onboard the missing pump boat are four sacristans, the boat skipper and Limasawa Chief of Police Richard Castanares.

Upon receipt of report from Danny Atienza, PDRRMO of Southern Leyte, the personnel of Coast Guard Station Maasin immediately conducted search and rescue operations for the missing passengers of said boat.
