DOTC-PCG: Philippine Coast Guard Commandant Rear Admiral Rodolfo D Isorena today warned PCG personnel nationwide against firing a gun during the New Year revelries.

In the directive issued today at the Coast Guard Action Center (CGAC), Rear Admiral Isorena reminded all PCG districts, stations, substations, major and support unit personnel to strictly observe and adhere to the National Government's directive for uniform personnel against unlawful discharge of firearm and to use them only in the lawful performance of duty.

“The PCG is a professional organization and should continue to observe its commitment to the rule of law. Personnel who will violate the directive will be dealt with both criminal and administrative charges." Rear Admiral Isorena said.
