The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) deployed BRP Tubattaha (MRRV-4401) to conduct medical evacuation for a 55-year-old Filipino chief cook aboard Panamanian-flagged vessel, MV Royal Harmony at the vicinity waters off General Santos City, South Cotabato on 28 January 2021.

PCG medical personnel and MV Royal Harmony rendezvoused at the vicinity waters off Gensan Pilot Station and ensured the safe transport of said Filipino seafarer who experienced severe abdominal pain to Makar Wharf in General Santos City.

Upon arrival, he was further assisted by private medical emergency workers who ferried him to the nearest hospital for needed medical attention.
