The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) conducted medical evacuation to aid the rented diver of LCT PMI-7 who lost consciousness while doing underwater search for the missing anchor of said vessel at the vicinity waters off Maranog Point, Dumaran, Palawan on 02 March 2021.

According to the crew of LCT PMI-7, 42-year-old Cristetoto Faderan, a resident of Barangay Sta. Teresita, Dumaran, experienced leg cramps before losing consciousness. They immediately rescued him and conducted cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) until the medical team arrived.

Faderan was brought to Sta. Teresita Pier and ferried to the nearest hospital for further medical assistance.
