The City Government of Naga in Cebu Province recognized the men and women of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) for their exceptional public service, specifically in the implementation of COVID-19 response efforts amid the ongoing pandemic.

The Sangguniang Panlungsod of Naga City presented the City Council Resolution Numbers 745 - 2021, 746 - 2021, and 747 - 2021 to commend the PCG, as well as the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) for their valuable assistance to uphold the health and safety of the residents against the threat of the contagious virus.

The resolutions were presented by Naga City Vice Mayor Virgilio Chiong, City Councilor Clint Isidro Chiong, and Sangguniang Kabataan Federation President Jhun Mark Sismar to PCG, BJMP, and BFP during the weekly flag raising ceremony at the City Hall of Naga this morning, 08 March 2021.
