1. Reference: Letter from Commander, Coast Guard District Palawan dated 24 August 2021

2. Per above reference pertains to a missing Yacht named “S/Y OUMA” skippered by Mr. Peter Ming which was reportedly missing last 14 August 2021. Accordingly, S/Y OUMA departed Negros Oriental on or about 06 August 2021 enroute to Puerto Princesa City without any coordination with CGS Negros Oriental and CGS Puerto Princesa and supposed to arrive last 11 August 2021. Unfortunately, S/Y OUMA did not arrive at Puerto Princesa.

3. In this connection, all ships/watercrafts transiting on the above-mentioned areas to be on the look – out for possible sightings on said missing Yacht and render necessary assistance if sighted and inform nearest Coast Guard units.

4. The cooperation of all concerned in effecting widest dissemination of this information is highly requested.
