The Regional Training Center Masbate held the Recognition Rites of Coast Guard Non-Officers' Course Class 109-2025 “Salig-Nasiglat” in Masbate City today, 10 June 2025.

With the support from President Ferdinand R Marcos Jr. in enhancing the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) capability and complemented the initiatives carried out by previous administrations aimed at building its capacity and personnel, the Coast Guard District Bicol remains committed in supporting the Regional Training Center Masbate in developing capable and principled public servants, prepared to serve the nation with honor and integrity.

The ceremony honored the dedication and achievements of the 290 trainees who will soon join the PCG.

Acting Commander of Coast Guard Education, Training and Doctrine Command, Rear Admiral Tito Alvin Andal PCG, graced the said activity. He congratulated the class members on their resilience, discipline, and commitment throughout their training. He also emphasized the importance of embodying the core values of the service and upholding excellence in all endeavors as they prepare to assume their future roles in safeguarding the nation’s maritime interests.
