The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) showcased its maritime capabilities through a Kinetic and Static Display in celebration of the 127th Philippine Independence Day at Rizal Park, Ermita, Manila on 10 to 11 June 2025.

According to President Ferdinand R Marcos Jr., the celebration of Independence Day is more than just a commemoration of the birth of the Philippine Republic. It’s a strong affirmation of our century-old nationhood and the nation’s duty to safeguard what our forefathers have fought and died for.

Said event brings together various government agencies and branches of service in a show of unity and national pride, offering the public a close-up view of equipment, capabilities, and services provided by the nation’s defenders and civil servants.

As part of the celebration, the PCG Booth is open to the public, showcasing the vital roles and contributions of the Coast Guard in safeguarding the nation’s maritime interests and in delivering humanitarian aid and public service.

Also present at the PCG Booth are personnel from Coast Guard Human Resource Management Command (CGHRMC). Aspiring applicants who wish to join the PCG are invited to visit the booth for inquiries and application assistance.
