The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) successfully rescued a total of 88 families in Brgy. Sicsican, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, amid #CrisingPH today, July 18, 2025.

According to the CGDPAL, at around 08:25 AM, they deployed a Quick Response Team (QRT) to the affected area and utilized its mobility assets to assist in the evacuation of stranded residents, in compliance with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to ensure the safety of the Filipino amid the heavy weather.

As of 11:00 AM, a total of 88 families, composed of around 200 individuals, were safely rescued.

"The operation reflects CGDPAL’s unwavering commitment to swift and effective disaster response for the safety and well-being of our kababayans," the CGDPAL furthered.
