The Philippine Coast GuardΒ (PCG) convened the Coast Guard Non-Officers’ Course Class 115-2025 composed of 248 male trainees at the Regional Training Center Taguig on August 11, 2025.

Coast Guard Education, Training and Doctrine Command (CGETDC) Commander, Rear Admiral Tito Alvin Andal PCG, presided over the convening ceremony.

In his message, Rear Admiral Andal PCG reminded the class that the convening is not just the beginning of their training. It is also the beginning of the challenge to serve, to protect, and to lead, emphasizing that they are the future of the PCG.

The trainees will undergo a rigorous six-month journey of transformation, honing their skills and strengthening their capabilities across all facets of the programβ€”physical, academic, and emotional.

Anchored on the directive of President Ferdinand R Marcos Jr to develop a highly skilled PCG manpower, the training aims to mold them into well-rounded Coastguardians, equipped not only with the competence and expertise demanded by their duties but also with the integrity, discipline, and resilience that define the finest members of the PCG. Upon completion, they will stand as both capable professionals and steadfast embodiments of PCG’s core values.
