In compliance with the directive of President Ferdinand R Marcos Jr, Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) technical divers will commence the search and retrieval operations to look for the remains of the missing β€œsabungeros” that are allegedly dumped at Taal Lake tomorrow, 11 July 2025, as weather permits.

PCG Commandant, Admiral Ronnie Gil Gavan PCG, has received the formal request from Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla, yesterday, 09 July 2025.

The request covered the mobilization and deployment of specialized Coast Guard units, including operational support teams, to augment the DOJ’s ongoing investigation.

Matagumpay na nailigtas ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) ang dalawang mangingisda sa karagatang sakop ng Orion, Bataan kahapon, 07 Hulyo 2025.

Ang matagumpay na search and rescue (SAR) operation na isinagawa ng Coast Guard Station (CGS) Bataan at BRP Boracay (FPB-2401) ay alinsunod sa direktiba ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. na tiyakin ang kaligtasan ng bawat Pilipino sa karagatan at paigtingin ang seguridad sa mga katubigang sakop ng bansa.

Namataan ng BRP Boracay (FPB-2401) kahapon 07 Hulyo 2025, ang dalawang mangingisda na nakakapit sa kanilang kalahating lumubog na bangka, humigit-kumulang 4.7 nautical miles hilagang-silangan ng Orion, Bataan.

Pinangunahan ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) ang National Maritime Search and Rescue Exercise, kasama ang mahigit sa 20 ahensya ng gobyerno at iba pang maritime stakeholders, sa Aklan mula ika-7 hanggang ika-8 ng Hulyo 2025.
Alinsunod ito sa direktiba ni Pangulong Ferdinand R Marcos Jr., na naglalayong palakasin ang koordinasyon at kahandaan ng pamahalaan at pribadong sektor, partikular sa pagreresponde sa mga insidente sa karagatan.

With the support of President Ferdinand R Marcos Jr., the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has restored six critical light stations in Romblon from 30 June to 04 July 2025.

These are the Light Station (LS) Calatong Hills, LS Corcuera, LS Malbog, LS Gorda, LS Calabogo Point, and LS Romblon Jetty (Red).

The PCG team conducted essential installations, system repairs, and component replacementsβ€”effectively restoring light to the shorelines and reinforcing navigational safety across Southern Tagalog.

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) hosted the National Maritime Search and Rescue Exercise 2025 (SAREX) with Integration of Mass Rescue Operations and was successfully conducted at Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan from 07 July to 08 July 2025.
As envisioned by the President Ferdinand R Marcos Jr., PCG continuously pursue and defend our maritime interests towards a brighter and stronger Bagong Pilipinas.
The said exercise was presided over by PCG Deputy Commandant for Operations, Vice Admiral Edgar YbaΓ±ez PCG, and hosted by Coast Guard District Western Visayas under the leadership of Commodore
