EGS Asia Inc., a Philippine survey company contracted by National Grid Corporation of the Philippine (NGCP) to carry out Marine Survey for cable route engineering design along the Negro-Panay Island. The survey will be undertaken between October 16, 2015 and November 30, 2015 using a vessel named: “GEMINI II” on areas bounded by the following coordinates:

2. On or about 051603h oct 2015, coast guard action center received email from mr. Angelo olondriz with contact nr. (0918-803-8657) and reported that m/yatch europa with mmsi 235113883, satphone nr +870776328667, next port of call and five (5) person (1 filipino and 4 foreigner) onboard is missing. Said yatch departed from hongkong on 021100h oct 2015 and they were heading towards to vigan down the coast of subic bay to avoid ts “kabayan” and estimated to arrive on 041500h oct 2015. As of 030423h oct 2015, has activated its epirb at lat 17 degs 35.0 min n, long 116 degs 56.4 e and on 051113h oct 2015 at lat 18 degs 21.88 mins n, long 117 degs 13.98 mins e.
