Per above reference, on or about 061428H October 2015, Coast Guard Action Center received email from CE Jose F Galarosa, Fleet Manager of Mercury Shipping Corporation requesting for   search and rescue operation for the missing crew of MV Cape United identified as Mr. Dennis S. Ponferrada last 03 October 2015 at Latitude 17 Degs 16.6 Mins North Longitude 120 Degs 00.6 Mins East or at vicinity 27 NM Northwest of Luna, Ilocos Sur. 

3. In this connection, all ships/watercrafts transiting the abovementioned vicinity are advised to be on the look–out for possible sightings, take necessary actions and if sighted report to the nearest PCG units or call/ text at cell phone number 0917-PCGDOTC (09177243682).

1. REFERENCE: EMAIL FROM MR. ANGELO OLONDRIZ DATED 05 OCTOBER 2015. 

2. On or about 051603h oct 2015, coast guard action center received email from mr. Angelo olondriz with contact nr. (0918-803-8657) and reported that m/yatch  europa with mmsi 235113883, satphone nr +870776328667, next port of call and five (5)  person (1 filipino and 4 foreigner) onboard is missing. Said yatch departed from hongkong on 021100h oct 2015 and they were heading towards to vigan down the coast of subic bay to avoid ts “kabayan” and estimated to arrive on 041500h oct 2015. As of 030423h oct 2015, has activated its epirb at lat 17 degs 35.0 min n, long 116 degs 56.4 e and on 051113h oct 2015 at lat 18 degs 21.88 mins n, long 117 degs 13.98 mins e. The following are the person onboard:

2. Per above reference, on or about 071228H October 2015, Coast Guard Action Center received an email from Capt. MYKOLA VORONKEVYCH, Master of M/V NAVIOS ORBITER, informing that an unmanned capsized wooden bamboo fishing boat with yellow hull, approximately 1 cable in length was sighted at Latitude 17 Degs 30 Mins North, Longitude 119 Degs 0.2 Mins East or at vicinity 76.06 NM West of Vigan City. 

3. In this connection, all ships/watercrafts transiting the abovementioned vicinity are advised to take note of the information and necessary precaution measures.
